Master Classes
New for 2008!
We are pleased to offer a series of Master Classes designed to provide superior skills for RTO staff and industry trainers. They will provide you with the 'tricks of the trade' that we use in our 3 businesses and for which we are widely recognised as being Best Practice practitioners. These classes may be linked to nationally recognised Units of Competency by completing the accompanying workbook and submitting evidence for assessment.
Enrolments are managed by and training is provided by Healthy Business Training Academy. You can use this enrolment form (MS Word 2003; electronic form) to book your place, or contact HBTA for further information about a specific Master Class.
Classes to be held in 2008 are:
Instructional design: 2 day workshop focussing on the development of unique and high quality resources for your business. May be linked to TAADES401B; TAADES402B (L)
Writing and validating quality assessment tools: 2 day workshop focussing on the development of unique and high quality assessment tools for your business. May be linked to TAAASS403B. (L)
Developing resources to commercial publishing standards : 2 day workshop focussing on the aesthetics of publication design. Your resources are the public face of your business. Taking a little time to 'work smarter' will improve the look and readability of your work. Your learners will thank you for it. (L)
Managing an RTO: 4 day workshop covering the essential knowledge and skills to manage your AQTF 07 compliance and the essentials of keeping and monitoring records. May be linked to TAAENV401B and TAATAS401B. (L)
Complaints and difficult people: 2 day workshop covering the essential knowledge and skills to develop and manage policies and procedures to deal with complaints, appeals and critical incidents.
Continuous quality improvement : 1 day workshop covering the essential knowledge and skills to develop and manage the critical standards in AQTF 07 in gathering, analysing and acting upon feedback.
Beyond the ordinary : 1 day workshop which will open your eyes to the fact that innovation in training is as much about planning as it is to inspired genius. Come and learn how to free up your creative genii, build a dream and to engage others in making sure you achieve it. May be linked to TAAENV404B. (L)
All 2 day workshops are $300 per day which includes refreshments and all learning resources. It is desirable to bring a laptop computer to those workshops marked (L).
Those participants who choose not to complete the Unit assessments will be issued a Certificate of Attendace for evidence of attending professional development activities. If you wish to obtain a Statement of Attainment, you will need to pay an additional $75 per workshop and demonstrate competency through completing the required assessment tasks for all relevant units in any given workshop.
All MasterClasses will be held on the Gold Coast except where a viable class size is built up in Brisbane or regional areas. We require a minimum of 10 confirmed enrolments up to a maximum of 18 confirmed enrolments for a class to be held. Classes are waitlisted and the HBTA workshop schedule page should be viewed regularly for location and time of events.
